Fandom! Come join us in celebrating the creative side of fandom. From the dark ages of fanzines to the glory of the internet, fans have been at the forefront of geekdom. Let’s talk about the shows, books, and fics we love.

SouthernMedia features a full con suite, two panel rooms, vendors, and a Friday night dinner. The weekend is full of panels, contests, and a chance to sit around and talk to other fans in real life. To go along with the panels, there will be games, song vid viewings, an amazing Pub Quiz, shopping, and hob-knobing with your fellow fandom fans.

Since this con is about the fans, you can suggest panels under the Suggestions Tab. And it is not just limited to panels. We love games! Want to run a trivia contest, go for it. Interested in teaching crochet to someone, setup in the con suite and have at it. A word on our hotel, we will be returning to the same one as last year. You’ll love it. Plenty of food places nearby, easy to get to from all over the Bay Area, Bradenton, Orlando, Ocala, and Gainesville. Come join us for a weekend of fun.
